A general rule is to show consideration for the surroundings, nature, and wildlife. Since AuroraHut is located on an island in the water, sound travels long distances. Disturbing behavior is not allowed. Compensation may be required from a disruptive guest or guests. Potentially disruptive guests may be required to leave the premises immediately. Our entire business concept is based on being able to offer our guests a calm and wonderful stay without stress, to find tranquility, and to enjoy the surroundings and nature. We call this ‘Unlock Your Senses.’ We want to maintain this fantastic place as it is.
You may not allow more people to stay overnight in AuroraHut than you stated at the time of booking or as agreed upon.
It is not allowed to take products from AuroraHut or the island home.
Smoking is prohibited inside AuroraHut.
Pets are not allowed. Even though we love animals, bringing pets to AuroraHut is not permitted out of consideration for guests with allergies.
If the smoking and/or pet ban is not respected, the responsible guest will be charged for cleaning costs.
The Right of Public Access on Aurorahut Island – Respect, be considerate, do not damage or disturb nature. Lighting fires on the island is only allowed in designated fire pits to minimize the risk of fire spreading and damage to the ground. Use the wood provided by Hedetangen AB for fires. Cones and small branches from the ground may be used for firewood, but cutting branches or bark from living or fallen trees is not allowed. A fire blanket is available directly next to the designated grill area. A bucket should be filled with water during an active fire. Light fires in moderation for cooking and ambiance. Guests are responsible for ensuring that the fire in the grill/grills is completely extinguished before leaving the area. Do not leave an open fire unattended. Fire ban – If a fire ban is in effect in the area, it is not allowed to start fires, not even in the fire pit. However, the gas stove inside AuroraHut may be used despite the fire ban, under responsibility and careful supervision. Lighter fluid or wood is not allowed in the Kamado grill, only briquettes and fire starter bags provided by Hedetangen AB.
The gas stove in Aurorahut is only for boiling foods, not for frying, due to cooking fumes. Several grills are available for use on the island. Guests are responsible for turning off the gas inside AuroraHut after using the gas stove to reduce risk. Leave nothing but your footprints – Trash should be sorted and disposed of in the designated bins for everyone’s comfort. Keep in mind not to throw glowing charcoal or other flammable items into our trash bins. As a guest of Hedetangen AB, you are required to be familiar with and follow the rules of conduct. These may be updated periodically. You are responsible for keeping yourself updated via Pricing Inquiry and the AuroraHut reservation form.
