Welcome to AuroraHut – our floating igloo-boat with hotel-standard accommodation by a small island in Storfors. It is fully off-grid for up to two weeks and equipped with everything you need for complete relaxation and minimal impact on nature.
Wake up to panoramic views of the water. Explore the island and nearby forest trails, visit exciting local attractions, or take a dip from the dock. End your day with local food on the grill under a starry sky.
During the winter, the AuroraHut is moved next to the sauna by the shore, still with a beautiful lake view, with the possibility for both sauna and ice baths as well as barbecue opportunities.
For those seeking a different kind of stay, we also offer a peaceful family house beautifully located in a quiet forest clearing on the mainland.
Regardless of accommodation, we cherish the Swedish Allemansrätten and provide everything you need to enjoy your stay – with care for both the environment and the next guest.
